Sentara Leigh Hospital, located in Norfolk, Virginia, is hiring a full time Project Manager.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing processes to support system-wide ongoing compliance with Accreditation/regulatory agencies and standards
• Providing consultation to all divisions regarding accreditation and regulatory affairs and compliance
• Key responsibilities include: system resource in accreditation & regulatory requirements & development of policies and procedures, advisement on the Quality Management System (QMS) requirements , sharing knowledge of processes to meet compliance with identified accreditation/regulatory standards, researching and obtaining interpretation of standards compliance requirements, and assisting with the development of processes to support ongoing service readiness.
  
  Minimum Qualifications
  
  • 2 years of project management experience
  • 2 years of physician relations experience
  • Bachelor's Level Degree: Nursing, Hospital Administration, Healthcare Administration, Health Administration
  • Certification: Project Management Professional (PMP) - Other/National

    Job Summary
    
    Support and coordinate multidisciplinary special projects to include hospital based, healthcare ambulatory facility, materials management, construction and equipment planning utilizing a team approach. Recommend procedural, workflow changes as appropriate. Identify and develop new programs.
    
    Master's Level Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Health Administration, and Hospital Administration preferred. Able to comprehend and transmit detailed instructions to all levels of the organization on a technical and professional level. Possess skills, abilities and knowledge in operations, systems management, human resource management, and quality, clinical or technical aspects of work performed in assigned areas. Licensed professionals are required to keep their professional license current.
