The Director, Sarbanes Oxley - IT Control Assurance is responsible for providing direction in the companywide efforts to ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) 302, 404 and ensuring the successful completion of SSAE 18 Service Organization Controls (SOC) Report reviews by external auditors. Must possess an understanding of and practical experience with audit methodology and strong background in technology and IT audits; demonstrate a solid understanding of end-to-end business processes and the critical IT dependencies; demonstrate the ability to effectively collaborate with key stakeholders to bring about change, and possess the ability to effectively manage project change within a dynamic environment.-- Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:--

  • Directs the project management efforts that entail the coordination of operations, finance, and IT representatives of the company's divisions.--
  • Identifies and implements best practices to ensure the overall compliance approach is efficient and effective.--
  • Identifies and mitigates audit risk by working directly with IT, Operations, and Finance management to ensure that issues are re-mediated and documentation is completed in a manner that meets audit requirements.--
  • Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.-- Qualifications Basic Requirements:
    • Requires a BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or Information Technology and minimum of 7 years of experience in internal controls as well as well as experience in leading teams in related engagements; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Preferred Qualifications:
      • CPA and/or CISA--
