*General Summary: * The Manager of Campaign Services coordinates
campaign activity and organization including pipeline development,
prospect tracking, and maintenance of timelines, and proactively
manages all capital campaign processes. Reports to the Director of
Philanthropy Services and Donor Relations. Duties and
Responsibilities: ? Ensures campaign call reports, cultivation, and
solicitation activities are recorded properly in the database, in
coordination with the frontline Leadership Giving Team. ?
Coordinates effective prospect briefing and tracking materials for
prospect review sessions, campaign meetings, and board meetings. ?
Provides current information about prospects and donors at
briefings and to staff and volunteers. ? Coordinates the creation,
approval, and finalization of campaign gift agreements. ? Supports
development of guest lists, invitation mailings and other list
creation. ? Plans for and schedules recurring leadership meetings
and arranges additional meetings on an as-needed basis. ? Provides
high quality support to Capital Campaign Leadership and all
volunteer leadership groups. ? Provides operational support for
CHKD's campaign cabinet and boards including managing a calendar of
meetings. ? Proactively anticipates and coordinates meeting agendas
and relevant materials to ensure groups are prepared in advance. ?
Updates cabinet and leadership directories and biographies. ?
Coordinates drafts of executive summaries, agendas and other
materials for Leadership Volunteer meetings and designated
committee meetings. ? Proactively identifies areas and new
opportunities for impactful story telling coordinating with
marketing to increase targeted communications, recognition and
promotion with key stakeholders, community, and patient prospects.
? Works with marketing to coordinate the creation of inspirational
philanthropic materials for CHKD's current and prospective
principal, major, and annual gift donors. ? Collaborates with
leadership, gift officers, program staff, marketing and others to
conduct background research, develop concepts, and write donor
reports, proposals, letters, and a variety of other materials that
advance philanthropic relationships. ? Works with marketing to
create donor-centric media and digital content that conveys donor
impact as well as CHKD's appreciation of donor support. ?
Coordinates with marketing to meet strategic philanthropic goals
through direct mail, collateral materials, KidStuff magazine,
annual report, online communications, and events. ? Works with
marketing to coordinate the development of cases for support,
concept papers, presentation materials, videos, digital content and
messaging to support strategic initiatives. ? Works with marketing
to coordinate the preparation of written proposals, gift
agreements, case documents, campaign information, and other
materials needed to secure major and annual gifts. ? Performs other
duties as assigned. *Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
* ? Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent
combination of education and experience required. ? At least three
years of progressively responsible experience in capital campaign
management/development, or related field. ? Proficient skills in
word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software such as
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and other
applicable software. ? Excellent oral and written communication
skills required. ? Must possess excellent interpersonal skills
including the ability to work successfully with donors, colleagues,
agents of wealth, and administrators. ? Must have excellent
management skills and be self-directed and results oriented. ?
Highly developed ability to work independently within a strong team
as well as collaboratively with colleagues to achieve common goals.
? Must possess ability to articulate the CHKD story with
effectiveness to secure current and future gifts. ? Local travel
may be required utilizing personal vehicle; valid driver's license
and applicable insurance is required. ? Must be available to work
nights/weekends as needed.
