CoSolutions, Inc. is seeking a Chief Engineer?to manage a team of
engineers who are managing a group of projects in areas?such as
cloud technology services, cybersecurity, network infrastructure,
client engineering, Access Control (AC), and software.?This
contract is a ten-years System Integration and infrastructure
development contract for the U.S. Navy in Norfolk, Virginia.
Responsibilities: * Systems Engineering overarching engineering
management, oversight, and execution of technical elements.
Including the rigorous technical planning process for integration
and coordination of technical activities across all levels of
management, and resulting in a sound system engineering strategy
IAW the program's technical issues, life cycle phasing, and overall
objectives. * Cybersecurity is designed into systems to prevent
damage to, ensure protection of, and enable restoration of
computers and electronic communications systems to ensure
information availability, integrity, authentication, and
confidentiality. * Test and Evaluation program (both Contractor and
Government run) is planned and conducted to verify all System
Requirements Specification (SRS) have been met. * Operations
Support Planning and Sustainment to ensure that supportability
design criteria and characteristics are considered and incorporated
into the system IAW the SRS. Requirements Clearance: Secret
Education: Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline.
Master's in Engineering Management (desired). Certifications: PMI
PMP Experience: Minimum five (5) years of professional experience
as a Chief Engineer, Technical Director, or Engineering/Technical
PM for an IT or Defense Business System program. Knowledge of
systems platforms and the ability to plan the global, regional and
local systems architecture for infrastructure components. Knowledge
of IT practices and business approaches and the ability to manage
the IT function in a viable and sustainable business manner.
Physical Requirements:? * Ability to sit for extended periods of
time. * Ability to stand for extended periods of time. * Ability to
walk to various locations as needed. * Ability to bend and navigate
to perform assigned duties. * Ability to travel by all forms of
transportation 30-50% of time. * Ability to lift light to moderate
