customer contractual needs and requirements into system test
solutions that acknowledges technical, schedule and cost
constraints. Develops and directs preparation and execution of
comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for completing
systems. Coordinates integrated testing activities. Reviews and
evaluates test requirements to insure completeness of test program.
Performs technical analysis of complete systems and prepares
comprehensive system level evaluations. Must Have Lead Test
Engineer (LTE) or Ship Safety Officer (SSO) or Watch Supervisor or
Watch Officer Certification or Trade REC Coordinator (TRC) and
Trade REC Oversight Agent (TROA) Certification and 6 years of
relevant professional/exempt experience. Nice to Have 1. A minimum
of six months experience as a Construction/Operations Supervisor,
Production Supervisor, Test Engineer/Technician, Work Control
Representative, Ship Safety Officer, Ship Safety Superintendent,
have held a US Navy qualification in submarines, or their
equivalents on other naval surface vessels in this or another
shipyard while assigned to shipboard work or testing. 2. Should
have thorough knowledge and understanding of Submarine 6010 Ship
Safety and Submarine Watertight Integrity requirements. 3. Should
have a strong submarine ship system knowledge and ship system
interrelationship understanding to be able to decipher work
descriptions, tagouts and testing on work control documents in
relation to making determinations as to their effect upon Ship
Safety. 4. Should be able to direct, manage and safely conduct all
required Ship Safety evolutions in support of: maintaining ship
conditions, high risk evolutions and the prevention and control of
fire and flooding casualties while the submarine is waterborne or
in dry dock. 5. Should be able to effectively communicate orally
with both internal and external customers to include: Commanding
Officer, Ship Duty Officer, Project Construction Management,
Trades, Test Engineering, Engineering, SUPSHIPNN, and Ship's Force.
6. Should have above average writing skills in support of
preparation of Unplanned Event / TLS documents, Ship Safety
procedures, and both internal and external audit finding responses.
7. Can obtain a TLD to receive ionizing radiation. 8. Hold a SECRET
