Secure our Nation, Ignite your Future ManTech is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer responsible for the design and implementations of applications' build, release, deployment, and configuration activities to support our growing programs in Norfolk, VA. Responsibilities Include but are not limited to: Develop IT solutions that optimize architectures and help define a migration plan for how to refactor application and architect deployment pipelines.
Experience with cloud applications and brokerages, preferably Navy.
Proven experience of transitioning enterprise applications securely to the cloud.
Work with the customer to gather requirements, prototyping, architecting, implementing/updating solutions, building and executing test plans, performing quality reviews, managing operations, and triaging and fixing operational issues. Qualifications and Experience: The ideal candidate will have experience working with multiple government agencies including agencies of Department of Defense.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or related technical area preferred.
Knowledge of configuration and automation management, health checks, single point of failure, and notifications.
Ability to design, build, and operate a technology stack with strong automation skills.
Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, JFrog Artifactory, and Team Foundation Services.
Experience with configuration management tools, including Chef, Puppet
Experience with continuous integration tools, including Jenkins and Bamboo
Experience with provisioning tools, including CloudFormation and Terraform
Experience with Linux-based infrastructures and Linux/Unix administration
Experience with AWS/Azure cloud services
Demonstrated experience with building and deploying microservices (Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift).
Demonstrated experience with containerization and microservices solutions (Kubernetes, OpenShift).
Knowledge and experience working with federal compliance and guidance, including FISMA, RMF, Federal Enterprise Architecture Framework, DoDAF, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, NIST 800 series, FedRAMP and cloud-based security controls.
Knowledge of technology for implementing security controls, including access control, privileged access management, data security, network security, data loss prevention, Cloud security, vulnerability management, configuration management, privacy, and audits.
Security Clearance: Active SECRET security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications: Willingness to travel as needed.
Must meet and maintain DoD Cybersecurity Workforce IAT II requirements Physical Requirements: Extensive time in stationary position
