Automation Test Engineer (Selenium)
Apex Systems has an Immediate Need for an Automation Software Test Engineer to support our local government client in Norfolk, VA. This role will begin remote due to COVID but will move back on-site with expected 2 Days of Remote Flexibility post-COVID. Location: Remote due to Covid then hybrid onsite in Norfolk, VAContract Type: Contract to Hire (12 month to Permanent)Pay Rate: $120,000 - $130,000+
Top Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizen able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
  • IAT Level II Certification (Security+ or Higher)

Will be responsible for automating and executing verification, validation and testing of application and systems software. Incumbent must be able to qualify as a DoD Cybersecurity Workforce member.
    Qualifications:
    • Knowledge and experience in object oriented programming.
    • Experience with developing and managing automated test suites.
    • Demonstrated experience with automated test framework development.
    • Experience with Selenium WebDriver and Selenium Grid.
    • Experience with using build tools such as Jenkins and Maven.
    • Experience with integrating automated tests into the DevOps process.
    • Experience validating cross browser-based products
    • Knowledge of agile software development life cycle models.
    • Skilled in utilizing software development management and issue tracking tools (JIRA)
    • Skilled in utilizing test management tools (e.g. Micro Focus ALM, Zephyr, Test Rail) to build test suites/sets, capture test data, and analyze results.
    • Ability to capture test data, analyze test results and clearly communicate (orally and written) findings and/or deficiencies.
    • Ability to coordinate and collaborate with members of a software development or systems engineering team to accomplish project team goals and objectives.
    • Ability to conduct software/system integration, installation, configuration, functional, performance, regression and system recovery testing. Responsibilities:
      • Use Selenium WebDriver to automate test cases provided by the IV&V team and stakeholders.
      • Integrate automated test cases into the DevOps pipeline.
      • Automatically report test results to test management tools such as Micro Focus ALM, Zephyr, and Test Rail.
      • Utilize Selenium Grid to run automated tests in parallel.
      • Conduct test design activities to identify and create automated test cases, test procedures and test scripts traceable to system requirements.
      • Conduct static and dynamic testing at all software testing levels to include integration, functional, system, and acceptance.by Jobble
