REMOTE Network Roles but will travel an estimated 25 of the time!! Apex Systems has 10 current openings for cleared Network Engineers ranging from Junior to Senior Level! These will require you to obtain a Secret Clearance or Top Secret Clearance as well as a Sec+CE Cert, and be able to maintain them as well. These will be 6 month contract to Hire. Junior Network Engineer in Virginia BeachNorfolk, VA. Our client is looking for Network Engineers to support the Tactical Networks (TACNET) Capabilities Based In Service Engineering Agent (CB-ISEA). TACNET CB-ISEA supports the sustainment and modernization of Automated Digital Network System (ADNS), Consolidated Afloat Network and Enterprise Services (CANES), Combined Enterprise Regional Information Exchange System (CENTRIXS), Integration Shipboard Networking System (ISNS), Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Networks, Video Information Exchange System (VIXS), and Wireless Reachback System (WRBS) Programs of Record information systems. Candidates will interface with Active Duty personnel and US Government employees to provide breakfix support to SPAWAR fielded Tactical Networks in a fast paced, high energy environment. The position requires travel, up to 25 of the time to in addition to occasional off-hours support. Support will encompass a range of capabilities, from system installations, configuration management enforcement, system sustainment and upgrades, distance support, and emergent Casualty Report (CASREP) support as needed for the warfighters. Primary Responsibilities Analyze issues in an Enterprise LAN Shipboard Environment to determine the best course of action for resolution. Provide root cause analysis and be comfortable recommending permanent configuration changes when necessary. Work in cooperation with external partners, including consultants, agencies and vendors, to troubleshoot intra-system issues, and to assist with system integration design solutions. Provide server break-fix and provide remote support for server, network, desktop, and peripheral equipment. Interface and direct Government Customers regarding the proper approach to maintaining their networks and the associated network components supporting data, voice andor audio communication activities. Attend and participate in technical meetings, report on technical progress, prepare briefs, and provide presentations. Participate in integrated product teams and engineeringdesign reviews. Required Certification and Experience Associates Degree and 2 years of related experience or 4 years of related experience with either a HSGED. Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret clearance. Current Security+ certification Experience with TACNET Programs of Record Systems ADNS, CANES, CENTRIXS, ISNS, SCI Networks, VIXS or WRBS. The ability to obtain ONE of the following within 30 days of hire CCNA Routing and Switching, MCSA Server 2016 Engineering experience with Cisco switches and routers OR administration experience of Windows Sever.
