productive global citizens. NSU’s Department of Chemistry seeks
applicants for the position of Adjunct Professor – Chemistry.
Adjunct Chemistry Professors teach General Chemistry and Organic
Chemistry lecture and laboratory courses. Adjunct Faculty
responsibilities include teaching one or more of the following: 1.
General Chemistry lecture and/or laboratory courses 2. Organic
Chemistry lecture and/or laboratory courses Successful candidates
will instruct, hold office hours and assist with assessment of the
course(s) as part of the Chemistry program annual evaluation.

University. Minimum Qualifications Candidate must possess a
Master’s of Science in Chemistry from a regionally accredited
institution of higher education; Ph.D. in Chemistry preferred.
Demonstrated ability to teach General Chemistry and Organic
Chemistry and teach laboratory courses associated with prescribed
lectures. Skilled in the use of assessment and instructionally
based technology when delivering teaching concepts and principles.
Demonstrated ability to communicate to a diverse student-body
audience, both verbally and in writing, with emphasis applied to a
