Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
position is available in Virginia Beach, VA, seeking a skilled
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology
Assistant (SLPA) with experience in school settings. This
opportunity offers a contract lasting the full school year and
serves students with diverse speech and language needs from PreK
through 12th grade. Location:This role is positioned in Virginia
Beach, with responsibilities potentially extending to nearby areas
such as Norfolk, Chesapeake, Hampton, and Suffolk, VA.
Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy
to students across various grade levels. Collaborate with
educators, families, and other professionals to develop
individualized education plans (IEPs). Assess, diagnose, and treat
speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in a
school-based environment. Maintain accurate records and
documentation in accordance with school and state policies.
Participate in meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team
efforts supporting student success. Qualifications: Valid licensure
or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist or
Speech-Language Pathology Assistant. Previous experience working
specifically in schools, with demonstrated success in supporting
PreK-12 students. Strong understanding of school-based therapy
practices and educational requirements. Not accepting new
graduates; candidates must have verifiable experience in
educational settings. Ability to work a full-time schedule of 37.5
hours per week during the school year. This contract position
