Position Summary: Works with A&A managers and partners in
planning, implementing and controlling engagements to ensure
quality of work on a timely basis.
Position Duties:
* You demonstrate the ability to provide timely, high quality
client service that meets or exceed client expectations
* You prepare all necessary financial statements and related
disclosures and reportable condition letters, focusing on quality,
thoroughness and accuracy
* You develop understanding of client's business, and becomes a
"functional expert" in the area
* You are responsible for supervising engagement team as needed
* You keep lines of communications open with staff and clients by
conducting regular one-on-one or team meetings to communicate
responsibilities and expectations to team members
* You are responsible for monitoring and reporting regarding the
productivity of staff and adherence to work plan schedules on each
assignment
* You conduct client interviews to obtain information and keep
engagement team up to date on changes
* You anticipate and address client concerns and refer to
supervisor promptly
* You recognize and inform senior management of opportunities for
increase level and types of services to clients
* You demonstrate necessary technical skills and abilities required
within accounting and auditing
* You identify areas for which control and inherent risk
assessments may be lowered
* You understand how the impact of changes in the economy, industry
and business processes affects the planning process
* You gather appropriate evidence using advanced analytical
reviews
* You identify situations when deviation from/addition to planned
procedures is appropriate
* You must demonstrate an ability to plan engagements
* You are responsible for documenting internal controls on a timely
basis
* You test systems of internal control appropriately based on risk
assessments
* You demonstrate understanding of tax computation including
deferred taxes
* You perform an effective engagement administration review
* You recognize and document appropriate matters for Manager's
attention
* You take ownership of personal career objectives by attending
required and elective education programs for level and function,
sets annual career objectives, applies knowledge and skills through
training and self-development and incorporates feedback into
personal development goals
* You perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
* 2+ years relevant work experience required
* Current CPA license preferred
* Previous audit experience in public accounting firm required
* Excellent organizational and analytical skills
* Strong leadership and mentoring skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Drive to contribute to a dynamic collaborative team
environment
